Robotics may not be the answer for primary care right now, but "smart systems" sure could help

Let us handle the garden-variety hypertension and diabetes, and give them the complex cases
These new devices never live up to their promises, but I keep hoping anyway
In these days of templates and hashtags, figuring out a patient's status isn't always easy
We depend heavily on technology, but let's not forget about the humanity in healthcare
We must ease paperwork burdens on our specialty and make it more attractive to future physicians
